All of the Alchemist team have received appropriate training in Safeguarding, Safer Recruitment, and Prevent.

We have 3 designated safeguarding officers who hold the appropriate Safeguarding and Prevent Qualifications.

The safety and well being of our learners is paramount.

Alchemist welcomes compliments, complaints and feedback. Any complaints will be investigated thoroughly and dealt with in accordance our complaints policies and procedures

We strive to provide the highest quality service at all times but we also are committed to continuous improvement.  We utilise feedback and comments to help us do this and operate a 'You said, we did' process to communicate how we have used feedback to further improve our service.

If you are dissatisfied with an assessment outcome, you have the right of appeal – your Trainer, Assessor or Tutor will discuss this with you during your induction.  

An Apprentice may appeal against an assessment decision if they believe that the decision is unfair or unreasonable. All Apprentices must be informed of the centre’s appeals process on commencement of their programme. Note: The learner’s right to appeal is available from either Alchemist website or any Awarding Body website. 

Where practical, the Apprentice should discuss their objection to the assessment decision with the Trainer, Assessor or Tutor prior to making a formal appeal. The Trainer, Assessor or Tutor should be open-minded to the points raised by the Apprentice, discuss the matter with their IQA and a solution sought which makes an appeal unnecessary.  If this cannot be achieved the Apprentice must be advised of their right to appeal and given the company’s appeals procedure along with key contact information. 

The Awarding Body’s decision is final, and the appeal will be deemed as closed.
